TyI would give it a 5 but my stuff came open but lucky enough I got my early in the morning so not all of it spilled in the package. I originally got the severe damage shampoo and conditioner line and it brought my hair back to healthy. Once it did that tho it was too heavy so i got this. Went too far down the moisture line for me personally. Will be trying a different one.This product worked as well as some of the more expensive products for keeping the frizz away and putting my son's hair back to ringlets. It doesn't smell to feminine and works great.I have think curly hair that tends to frizz. I use many of the Shea Moisture products to keep hair healthy and not frizzed out.My daughter and I both have curly hair. She found this after much research. Leider bemerkte ich nach der letzten Bestellung, dass sich die Konsistenz und Verpackung beider Produkte geändert haben. Das Label für Cruelty Free ist auch nicht mehr vorhanden. Die Zutaten sind ebenfalls anders. Ich habe noch eine Flasche mit alter Rezeptur, auf der Alkohol als 9. Zutat angegeben ist. Das neue Rezept hat es an ZWEITER Stelle, d.h. es ist viel mehr Alkohol drin. Man merkt sehr deutlich, dass die Konsistenz wesentlich dünnflüssiger ist als früher und dementsprechend reagieren meine Haare sehr negativ drauf.Ich war anfangs so von diesem Produkt begeistert, weil es meine trockenen, frizzigen Haare in eine glänzende Wellenpracht verwandelt hat. Leider ist dieser wunderbare Effekt jetzt mit der neuen Rezeptur nicht mehr spürbar und meine Haare sind wieder trocken und frizzig. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht und finde es wirklich sehr schade.PLEASE STICK TO THE OLD RECIPE! The new one is just plain awful. Or at least update your amazon picture so it reflects what you're actually selling nowadays.The old recipe had alcohol in 9th place, the newer one has it in 2nd place, meaning it contains way more. This renders it completely useless. It's garbage now. Shea Moisture is an overpriced brand with alarmingly positive reviews considering the shampoo and conditioner stripped my hair of its essential oils and turned it into a frizzy, bone dry mess. The curling smoothie which is generally hyped and has good reviews, is absolutely disgusting and dried my hair out after every use. I thought I must be doing something wrong all these years hence continuing using the brand, until finally realising it was damaging my hair and time to change what I use entirely. Waste of money, expensive, and harmful for type 4C curly hair depending on what your mix is of course. Avoid at all costs!I love other Shea Butter products so hate to leave a terrible review. The shampoo just does not lather... And while I'm ok with a low lather shampoo, it also doesn't feel clean afterwards! My hair was feeling exceedingly greasy as the weeks continued - yet dry on the ends. The conditioner was okay. I am not a fan and will go back to one of the other Shea Butter or other natural hair brand products.Good points: curls look defined and hair was noticeably less frizzy.Bad points: my hair felt disgusting! I used a few times to make sure it wasn't me doing something wrong but, my hair felt awful. It felt like stiff and stuck together like I had used a load of products on it. I don't use any. My hair became tangled, I couldn't run my fingers through my hair. If I had it tied back when I took the bobble out it would stay in the shape of the pony tail or bun. I can normally get away with washing my hair once a week,I had to wash 3 times in a week because it felt disgusting and I couldn't stick it. Going back to my normal shampoo.
