I like this conditioner but I have some mixed feelings about our long-term relationship. On the plus side, it leaves my hair fairly soft. Also, it smells ok & let's face it, a large part of our decision to purchase bath, body & hair products is based on the scent. What I like best about this conditioner is that it detangles my hair really well. That is quite a feat. I have very long, super thick, coarse, curly hair & a lot of it. It's dry & color treated, too. So the fact that this can both detangle my hair & leave it soft is pretty impressive. However, it makes my hair, 'fluffy'. I don't know how else to say it. Not quite frizzy, but adds body like an impending electrical storm. I don't need the extra body but never the less, there it is. I used the leave-in conditioner of the same 'flavor' the second time that I tried this product & it did help a bit but still having 2-3 full days of fluffiness. I should also state that I grew up in a hair salon & have tried most everything on my hair, so even a passing grade from me is pretty good as far as conditioners go. I am definitely picky. While the scent is light & doesn't make me comment out loud when I smell it, the product does a decent job. It should have a disclaimer on the bottle for how slippery it makes the floor of the shower, though! I am not exaggerating when I say that this conditioner makes my floor more slippery than any other thing that I can recall putting on my hair or body in the shower! If you are cool with getting your scent pleasure from your body wash or something else, then do try this for an easy way to detangle & moisturize your hair. (Just maybe invest in a handle for your shower wall, or at least some of those little sticker things for the floor to help with traction).
